Since 1993, PFI has engaged in export promotion through the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Market Access Program, which supports global promotion of U.S. agricultural goods. This grant program requires matching funds from both executing organizations and the industry.

PFI Market Access Program

The PFI Market Access Program aims to boost U.S. pet food and treat exports through marketing and promotions, improving local veterinarians’ knowledge in pet nutrition, and partnering with rescue groups to enhance animal welfare. All activities are directed by PFI and implemented by local in-country representatives.

Export and Food Safety Webinar Series

PFI Hosts Export and Food Safety Webinar Series

Starting on Nov. 13, PFI will air a three-part webinar series entitled “Export and Food Safety.” The series will provide dog and cat food companies with essential tools to develop a successful international marketing strategy and food safety information. Attendees will gain practical knowledge on export fundamentals to expand their products globally. Participants will receive a PFI training certificate. The webinars will air on Nov. 12-Nov. 14 from 1:00-2:30 p.m. ET.
